Confirmed operation with the EOS Kiss M

 

Settings for EOS Kiss M

Be sure to set up in the menu (switching of "Release Without Lens")

Set the mode dial before the shutter button to "Av" (Aperture Priority).

Press the MENU button to display the menu screen and switch the setting of C.Fn II, among the symbols for the Custom Function (C.Fn) on page 5 of the function setting “Other: Release Without Lens” to 1: ON

 

Focusing (How to enlarge the screen)

Press the magnifying glass symbol on the camera rear monitor or AF frame selection button on the camera rear upper right, then rotate the electronic dial (around the shutter button) to x1, x5, x10 or Cancel.

(Please note that the enlargement will not be canceled by pressing the shutter halfway.)

 Precautions for Leica M Type

Super-Angulon cannot be used with the Leica M Type.
Additionally, pay attention to the lenses with a rear protrusion.
Use a retractable lens without retracting it.

Set the mode dial on the shutter button to "Still Image Mode."
EOS M : Still Image Mode (symbol of camera)
EOS M2 : Applied Shooting Mode (2nd symbol of camera)

Press the INFO button and display the shooting modes on the screen.

Initial setting is "CA" (Creative Auto)

Set the shooting mode to "Av" Aperture Priority
Touch the screen to select.

Press the MENU button and change the custom functions.
Select "Custom Fuction (C.Fn)" in the 4th of the wrench symbols.

Switch the 7th "Release Without Lens" to 1: ON.


[EOS M3]

Set the mode dial in the left side before the shutter button to "Av" (Aperture Priority).

Press the MENU button to display the menu screen, select C.Fn III: "Other" among the symbols of C.Fn and switch the 2nd "Release Without Lens" to 1: ON

Press the INFO button several times and display the magnifying glass symbol in the right bottom of the screen.
Every time the magnifying glass symbol is pressed, it cycles through x1, x5, x10, and Cancel.

(Please note that the enlargement will not be canceled by pressing the shutter halfway.)

Every time the enlargement button of the magnifying glass symbol (under the Play button) is pressed, it cycles through x1, x5, x10, and Cancel.
