[TIPS] EASY WRAPPER: which size fits your gear?
A wrapping cloth that holds itself closed
EASY WRAPPER is a wrapping cloth without tapes, buttons or zippers. The outer fabric and the back fabric stick to each other, so once you fold it around your gear it stays closed in your hand or in a bag. Its cushioning protects delicate items, and large items such as tripods can be wrapped too.
The four sizes
- S : 28 x 28 cm (11.0 x 11.0 in.) - compact cameras, small prime lenses, hard drives, watches.
- M : 35 x 35 cm (13.7 x 13.7 in.) - a mirrorless body with a small lens, standard zooms, a flash.
- L : 47 x 47 cm (18.5 x 18.5 in.) - a body with a mid-size zoom attached, 70-200 mm class lenses.
- XL : 71 x 71 cm (27.9 x 27.9 in.) - a body with a long telephoto, a tripod, or a laptop.
A quick rule: lay the item on a table and measure its longest side. The cloth should be about three times that length so it can go around and overlap. When in doubt, go one size up; the cloth can always be folded smaller.
How to wrap
- Lay the cloth flat, outer side down.
- Put the item in the center and fold two opposite corners over it.
- Fold the remaining corners and press lightly. The fabrics grip each other.
Material: 100% polyester. Not waterproof. Available in many colors, including the new White and the Limited Logo Edition, plus a 4-size set.
